Signage FAQS

  1. We can either visit you at your location to review your signage needs or you can come in-person in our showroom in the Steele Creek area of Charlotte. At this point, we will review your needs and provide an estimate.  
  2. Once you choose QC Signs & Graphics a deposit is required to get the process started. 
  3. Our team will provide you proofs for approval and work with you to ensure you like it, before we manufacture it. 
  4. After we receive your approvals, we move into production and keep you updated as to expected completion. 
  5. Upon completion of your project, our team will either install, deliver, or let you know when you can pick-up your signage.  
  6. The final payment is due upon your satisfaction with your new signage.  

QC Signs & Graphics offers a full range of visual communications services such as vehicle and fleet wrapping, window vinyl and wall art, office branding, and graphic design. We offer surveying, permitting, and installation services. 

Because every project and every sign is different, we cannot give an estimated price without some detailed information. If you’d like an estimate, please email us and be as specific as possible in your description. Better yet, give us a call so we can advise you on your signing needs.

Like pricing, this depends on the type of sign, the size of the sign, and its requirements (design, permitting, etc.) Some signs can be produced in a day, while others take several weeks to be fabricated to your specifications.  

We are a licensed contractor in Mecklenburg County and can handle all your permitting needs. Did you know an electrical outdoor sign needs both a sign permit from a licensed contractor and an electrical permit from a registered electrician? We have the experience and resources to handle all your permitting needs. We are happy to manage the permitting process for you.

Depending on your needs we may be able to give you an estimate on the spot, or we may need a couple of days to put all the pieces together for your new signage.

If you email us, please provide as much information as possible. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • What kind of sign are you looking for? Do you know the type of material you want it made of?  
  • Do you have the art or do you need us to design art for you?
  • The measurements, or if you do not have those yet, an indication of measurements. We are also happy to come and walk through your signing needs with you. 
  • Pictures of any walls, windows, etc. where you want your sign to be installed
  • Does your landlord, building, or property have sign criteria and/or requirements? If so, please provide those too.
  • When do you want this sign completed?  
  • What’s your budget? This may sound like a strange question, but there are many different materials we can use and many ways to make a sign. Our goal is to give you the best product at the best price for your needs.

Yes! We have a graphics designer on staff and when you choose to work with us, we can work with your existing art or create art for you. No worries, nothing we are put into production until you sign off on the proof.

.PDF, .EPS, .TIFF, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop are preferred. Do you have art in a printable format, we can vectorize or recreate for you (at a charge).

If you pay us for graphic design service to produce art for you, you own it. Upon request, we will release your art files to anyone you request.  

Whether you simply want your company’s logo on the side of your vehicle, or you want to wrap an entire fleet of vehicles wrapped, we are here to help. Although pricing can range dramatically, a set of car magnets starts at $95/set and full vehicle wraps start at $3,600. Before we can give you any kind of quote, we need to see your vehicle in person and discuss the process and design with you individually. 

For sign work less than $500, we require a 100% deposit when you sign on with QC Signs & Graphics. When the job work is more than $500, we require a 50% deposit upfront before we start manufacturing your signage. We take all major credit cards VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, DISCOVER, Checks, and Cash.

That’s ok with us, however, we’ll need your tax ID number and NC state form.

The sign can be installed anywhere that the law permits and we are here to install it for you.

Yes, we have an in-house installation team. QC Signs & Graphics can install your signs not only here in the Charlotte region, but we are part of a national business alliance and can help you install throughout the country.

We manufacture much of what we sell in our sign studio in CLT and we source locally, working with multiple fabricators in the Carolinas. We are a professional sign studio and value strong communication and honesty with our customers.  

If for some unforeseen circumstance you paid your deposit and now you need to cancel, your refund will be determined based on what stage of the work we are in with your sign. If work has begun, including graphic design time, we will calculate all our expenses and refund you the difference.
